We are excited to share with you that Kevin Cochran, Co-Founder of Enriched Academy, will be joining us in-person to talk about the importance of financial literacy in the workplace.
Kevin is a highly engaging, in-demand speaker and has spoken to corporations large and small across the country on how to improve financial wellness within their organizations. He co- founded Enriched more than 10 years ago and has grown the company into Canada’s leader in financial literacy education. Their innovative training programs have educated and inspired over 200,000 Canadians to achieve a secure financial future.
If you think financial wellness isn’t an issue for your company, think again! A 2019 study by the Government of Canada found that financial stress was a leading cause of distracted workers, low morale, reduced performance and productivity, increased turnover, and higher absenteeism in the workplace. With recent spikes in inflation and interest rates, and no relief in sight, you can bet that financial stress is weighing even more heavily on the minds of your employees as 2022 comes to close.
Increasing salaries is the ticket to reduced financial stress from an employee perspective, but there are obvious limitations to this approach from an organizational perspective. Kevin will demonstrate how simply chasing more income is a losing battle, and clearly show that educating your employees to better manage their finances is a much more practical, cost efficient, and effective, long-term solution.
Kevin is very down to earth, funny, knowledgeable, and gives a highly entertaining presentation! We are very happy he has made the time to join us, and we sincerely hope you can attend.
